Letters: type. Kana conversion should be close to how an IME works. The old kana are typed with "wyi" and "wye".

Double quotation marks ("): dakuten

Backtick (`): handakuten

Ctrl+L: toggle latin mode (no conversion to katakana)

Some punctuation is supported
